Oath Research offers card payments through independent cryptocurrency on-ramp providers. This differs from a conventional card purchase. The provider may require identity verification, and the name of the payment provider may appear on your card statement rather than Oath Research.

How Card Payments Work

Why does the payment page mention cryptocurrency?

Our card payment option uses an independent crypto on-ramp. The provider processes your card payment as a cryptocurrency purchase, typically converting it into USDC for settlement. You should review the provider’s payment details and terms before approving the transaction.

Do I need to own cryptocurrency or create a wallet?

Not necessarily. Most integrated on-ramp providers handle conversion and settlement automatically. Others may require a wallet or additional steps. Follow the instructions shown by your selected provider.

Which cards are accepted?

Supported cards depend on the selected provider and your country. Visa and Mastercard may be available, while other cards and digital wallets depend on the provider. Available options are displayed during payment.

Is there a transaction limit?

Yes. Your payment provider may apply minimum and maximum purchase limits based on your country, verification level and payment method. The applicable limit is displayed during checkout.

Does the 15% cryptocurrency discount apply to card payments?

The Oath Research 15% cryptocurrency discount applies to eligible direct cryptocurrency payments. Card purchases processed through an on-ramp do not automatically qualify unless the promotion or checkout explicitly states otherwise.

Oath Research offers card payments through independent cryptocurrency on-ramp providers where available. This allows eligible customers to pay using a supported credit or debit card, even though the transaction may be processed as a cryptocurrency purchase.

When you choose this option, you are redirected to the payment provider’s secure checkout. Depending on the provider, your card payment is converted into a cryptocurrency such as USDC/ETH/POL and settled to Oath Research.

Important: This is different from a conventional card purchase. The provider may require identity verification (KYC), and your card statement may display the payment provider’s name rather than Oath Research.

Identity Verification & Privacy

Why am I being asked to verify my identity?

Crypto on-ramp providers may be required to perform Know Your Customer (KYC) checks under applicable financial regulations and their own risk-management policies. These checks help verify that the person making the purchase is authorized to use the payment method.

What documents might be required?

Depending on the provider and transaction, you may be asked for your full legal name, residential address, date of birth, government-issued photo ID, a selfie or proof of address. The provider determines the exact requirements.

Does Oath Research receive my identity documents?

Identity documents and card details submitted through the provider’s hosted verification process are handled by that provider, not by Oath Research. We still process the contact, billing, shipping and order information needed to fulfill your purchase under our Privacy Policy. The payment provider may share transaction-status information necessary to reconcile your order.

Can I skip KYC?

Not if your selected payment provider requires it. You can choose another payment method displayed at Oath Research checkout, subject to availability and eligibility.

Can I use someone else's card?

No. Use a card in your own name and ensure that your payment, billing and identity information is accurate and consistent. Mismatched information may cause verification failure or payment rejection.

Identity verification (KYC) is handled exclusively by our independent third-party payment provider to prevent fraud and reduce chargeback risks. Because your card payment is converted into cryptocurrency, the resulting blockchain settlement is irreversible and requires additional security measures.

Oath Research never accesses or stores your identity documents, selfies, or card details. All verification is completed securely and directly with the payment provider.

Payment Tips & Troubleshooting

How can I avoid payment verification problems?

Use your own card, provide accurate personal information and ensure your billing details match your bank’s records. Use your actual location rather than a VPN or proxy that might produce an inconsistent location signal. If identity verification is requested, follow the provider’s instructions and submit clear, valid documents.

Why was my card declined?

Your bank or the payment provider may decline a cryptocurrency purchase because of card restrictions, transaction limits, verification requirements, fraud-prevention controls or regional availability. A decline does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your Oath Research order.

What should I do if my card is declined?

Check whether your bank has requested transaction approval. If the payment was not charged, you may select another eligible payment option at checkout. If your bank shows a charge or pending authorization, do not repeatedly submit the same payment. Check its status with the provider first.

Why does my payment show Pending?

The provider may be verifying your identity, waiting for bank authorization or processing the cryptocurrency settlement. Some payments are completed within minutes, while others may take longer or require additional checks.

I was charged, but my order still says Pending. What should I do?

Do not immediately pay again. Check your payment provider’s confirmation email and transaction status. If your payment is completed but your Oath Research order has not updated, contact Oath Concierge with your order number, provider name and payment reference. Never send your full card number, CVV, password or identity documents to Oath Research support.

Can I retry the payment if the page stops responding?

First confirm whether your previous attempt succeeded or created a pending authorization. If no payment was made, you may start a new session through an eligible payment option. Avoid multiple simultaneous payment attempts.

Billing, Refunds & Disputes

What will appear on my bank statement?

Your statement may show the name or billing descriptor of the crypto on-ramp provider rather than Oath Research. Refer to the provider’s payment confirmation and transaction receipt to identify the charge.

What should I tell my bank if it asks about the transaction?

Describe the transaction accurately as a cryptocurrency purchase made through the named on-ramp provider to complete your Oath Research order. Provide the provider’s receipt or payment reference if requested.

Can I receive a refund to my original card?

Refund handling depends on the transaction stage and provider. If an on-ramp purchase fails before cryptocurrency settlement, the provider may refund the original payment method. Once cryptocurrency has been delivered and the transaction is complete, the on-ramp purchase may be irreversible. Any eligible Oath Research order refund will be handled according to our Refund & Reshipment Policy and applicable law.

Will eligible Oath Research refunds be paid in cryptocurrency or store credit?

Once a payment has been settled in cryptocurrency, an eligible Oath Research refund may be offered in cryptocurrency or store credit under the applicable refund policy. The available method will be confirmed by support and is subject to any mandatory consumer rights.

Can I dispute a card transaction?

Your dispute rights depend on your card issuer, country, the transaction and applicable law. For an Oath Research order problem, contact our support team so we can investigate it. For an unauthorized charge or a dispute involving the on-ramp purchase itself, you may also contact the payment provider or your card issuer.

What if I see an unfamiliar charge?

Compare the date and amount against your payment provider’s receipt. If you do not recognize or authorize the transaction, contact your bank or card issuer promptly and notify the provider.

After Your Payment

When will Oath Research confirm my order?

We will confirm your order after the on-ramp provider successfully completes the payment and the settlement is matched to your Oath Research order. You will receive an order-status update by email.

How soon will my order ship?

Fulfillment time depends on your selected inventory. Eligible US Local Stock orders are generally processed within 72 hours, subject to inventory and order volume. Global Stock follows its international fulfillment schedule, while Wholesale 10-Vial Kits generally require 5–10 business days of processing before shipment.

Will I receive tracking?

Yes. Once your order is dispatched and tracking is available, Oath Research will provide shipment information by email. Orders containing products from multiple fulfillment locations may receive more than one tracking number.

Who should I contact if I need help?

For an order, refund or shipment question, contact Oath Concierge through the Oath Research support portal. For identity verification, card authorization or a provider-side payment failure, contact the payment provider using the support information on your transaction receipt.
